The Phillips Landscapes team did some landscape modifications at our house during the winter of 2009. In summary, it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience for us........certainly outstanding in comparison to the many occasions of having work done around our house in the last 20 years.
Rob was extremely professional, not only in his trade but also in his communications with us. We were always kept well informed when, as inevitably happens, disruptions to the agreed schedule arose due to wet weather or delays in material delivery etc. And he was most accommodating to changes in the project specifications which became necessary as the job unfolded. Rob and his team were always courteous and went about their work in a quiet manner (no Doberman Pincers or doof-doof "music" imposed on us or our neighbours). They were also very tidy, never leaving the site in a messy condition.
In addition to all of the above, we also believed that we got a good job done at a good price.

Phillips Landscaping proprietor, Rob Phillips, and team have been servicing Hanwood Grove in Monash since 2009, during which time they have managed the garden maintenance for the complex, including landscaping.
Rob and his team have consistently produced good quality work, diligently attended to garden duties with limited direction and responded well to suggestions and feedback from the executive committee and body corporate/owners.
Rob takes pride in achieving quality results and meeting client expectations and can be trusted to deliver quality outcomes at a competitive price. To achieve results and expectations, Rob initiates meetings to discuss maintenance needs/wants and confirms all discussions in writing. Rob will always initiate meetings at the complex if he is not clear what is required. Rob is creative and initiates ideas he sees would benefit the owners and grounds, such as water resistant plants, mulch, etc. All body corporate owners have found Rob and his team as very friendly, approachable and professional in their dealings.
In March 2011, Rob and his team completed stage one of a three stage landscaping project for Hanwood Grove. To mitigate risk of error and to ensure client expectations were met, Rob designed a detailed landscaping plan, listing plants and stone types and creative features and attached a detailed quote listing material and labour costs. The plan and quote clearly identified work that was in and out of scope. Rob initiated a meeting with the executive committee to discuss the landscaping plan and quote to answer questions to avoid project misunderstandings. This consultation enabled the executive committee to answer detailed questions about the project when they presented the proposal and quote to the body corporate/owners for approval.
All owners of Hanwood Grove were delighted with the outcome of stage one. Opposite the landscaped area lives a former landscaper. This neighbour described the landscaped area as very professional and considered stage one has added value to the street.
